Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No. pin.health connects you with licensed physicians who handle your lab order. No prior referral needed.
How do I find a lab near me?
After joining, you’ll be directed to choose from 2,000+ Quest Diagnostics locations across the US. Simply pick the one most convenient for you. You can check location here.
How long does the blood draw take?
The lab visit itself takes about 15 minutes.
How do I prepare for my blood draw?
Preparation requirements vary depending on your plan and the tests included. In most cases, fasting for 8–12 hours is required – water is fine. You will receive detailed preparation instructions before your lab visit.
How long does it take to get my results?
Results are typically ready within 7 days of your blood draw and delivered directly to your pin.health dashboard.
Is pin.health a replacement for my doctor?
No. pin.health is designed to complement your existing care, not replace it. We help you understand your health data more deeply – and you can share your results with any doctor, anywhere.
What happens if my results show a critical value?
If your results went into critical ranges, you will be notified automatically – and a licensed physician will follow up with you directly to direct you to appropriate care. The main goal of the call is to inform you in person and not intend to be consultation.
Can I add more tests to my plan?
Yes. All plans include access to 200+ add-on tests at transparent prices. You can order additional testing anytime, with no limits.
Can I use HSA or FSA?
The lab tests included in your pin.health membership are HSA and FSA eligible.
Is pin.health available in my state?
pin.health is currently available across the US with the exception of New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island – coming later this year.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time with no cancellation fees.
